[Modding Question] Editing running anim

Hi, :)
so I was going to do something stupid and put running upward animation "locomotion_run_cycle_fast_forward_45_up" in place of standard running a. As you can expect it was very buggy and skeleton couldn't find the ground properly.

And here is my question: does anybody have experience or idea which params should I change (propably swap with vanilla one) in such anim so it will react with ground as normal anim but skeleton moves are changed?

+ Additional question: does anyone know the name of transition anim from run -> to walk; I am stil looking for it but maybe someone already found it.
 
People have tried to do this before, but they all seem to hit a brick wall with the same problems you are describing. I just don't understand how we ended up with those weird looking walking and running animations in the final game to begin with. Makes no sense.

Isn't there any NPC running animations that could be used?
