Our own Vattier has been putting up (and writing! Really well!) a series of CDPR-approved images and text describing the various Night City districts and neighbourhoods.
I'll be collating the District links here, as I did the excellent R. Tal Lore thread.

Check the Districts out! It's all official, approved and solid, solid stuff! Details like who controls what, which gangs are where and a nice touch of history, to boot. Did you know the mayor's office is in the Glen now? Or that Japanese Corpos actually tried to displace Arasaka in NC, but failed when A returned and then smushed an entire District to get what they wanted?

Going from South to North:

-Santa Domingo: https://forums.cdprojektred.com/index.php?threads/district-feature-santo-domingo.11034542/

-Heywood: https://forums.cdprojektred.com/index.php?threads/district-feature-heywood.11034689/

-City Center: https://forums.cdprojektred.com/index.php?threads/district-feature-city-center.11034311/

-Westbrook: https://forums.cdprojektred.com/index.php?threads/district-feature-westbrook.11034092/

-Watson: https://forums.cdprojektred.com/index.php?threads/district-feature-watson.11033693/

-Pacifica: https://forums.cdprojektred.com/index.php?threads/district-feature-pacifica.11034932/

-Badlands: https://forums.cdprojektred.com/index.php?threads/district-feature-badlands.11034767/

Now, THIS map is -unofficial-. IT IS ONLY A ROUGH IDEA. NOT a CDPR map! Unlike the details above, it's provided here SOLELY for reference. You can find more details in our solid Night City Map thread.

I hope North Oaks is an explorable location with unique NPCs/artists and a lot of luxury technology.
Looks so beautiful

Seems about right though. Whether inofficial or official map:

Can't wait to see it in 3D, on the ground, as ant among others.

By the time I finish the first real open-world area, I bet most of you will have completed the game at least 3 times.

Nah, I'll probably still be stuck at the character creation screen.

I think there is an airport in the game, Idk really. But there is an ad that says traveling from Chicago to Night City takes only 3 hours. So, from that I assume CDPR put an airport in the game. Maybe, that ad could be hinting at something? DLC? Maybe, don't want to get my hopes to high or anyone else.

There isn't an airport according to the map, but there is a space shuttle port type thing. I think they're like shuttles that fly close to the atmosphere or outside it:

This is presumably the inside of one, as you can see outside they're in space.

The advert you refer to is this:

As you can see, it appears to be a high speed rail system rather than a plane. The small print indicates it won't be complete until Q4 2078.

I don't know what happened to the PlaneTran underground Maglev from 2020 that ran from Night City to Washington D.C. but perhaps it was somehow destroyed or the like since then. It seems NightCorp is the somewhat successor to the Night City Transit Corporation, but with a wider area of operation in more major public works matters rather than just transit. Maybe NCTC still exists though, as NCART belonged to them. The Chicago to Night City route appears to be still under construction and not due to be finished until the end of 2078. This is presumably separate to the Planetran underground maglev as the advert shows an above ground picture to advertise.

It has been evident for a while now, that CDPR tries to stick as true to the 2020 lore as possible. Therefore the idea of low-earth orbit flights are a distinct possibility. Weve seen shuttles taking off from the spaceport in the videos.
