Patch 1.2 and old saved game files?

Hi there,I read on an unofficial German forum an old thread about unplayable old saved game files with Patch 1.2. So before installing the new patch I just want to make sure, if I am able to play my old saved game files or had I to start from the beginning?

Not sure yet if you cant play old savegame but, if you can, try to get to the end of your act then save and install the patch... You will be on the safe side then !

helloDon't worry, old files are compatible with patch 1.2. I have tested it myself.I have updated my game from patch 1.1a to 1.2 in the middle of ACT 5. After updating I reloaded my game from an old save game file and the game reloaded successfully.
