So i saved up all my ore and kegs to have 76 kegs in total for the premium weekend and fail to get a single gold card..... what are the chances of that? Surely there is a pity timer for at least 40 cards?

More than a little upset

There be no pity timers in Gwent, boi. Got the following after buying 3 kegs: https://imgur.com/a/nBZd4Vj

Zero Golds on 90+ kegs open in the past 2 days. Too lame to believe it is just a very bad case.

Since the beginning of Closed Beta opening kegs has been depending on luck.
Sometimes you get nothing for weeks and then suddenly you get a few golds in short time...

Of course it can be disappointing when you don't get anything good during premium weekend.
Last premium weekend I wasn't lucky, this weekend on the other hand it went well so far.

This Premium Weekend is much better for me:

First Premium Weekend (January):
65 Kegs - 2 Golds 14 Epic

Second Premium Weekend:
144 Kegs - 11 Golds, 33 Epic

i am not very lucky compared to others, but we must be very glad that this premium event(s) exists at all, so thank you CD

Haven't really gotten any Premium Golds (or any Golds for that matter), but cant really complain when i didnt stock up on Kegs, and only opened like 25, when some players opened over 70 also without any Gold.

At least i still got 4 or 5 new Premium Silvers. And ill probably still open one last keg before the Premium event ends, on the last event i got a Premium Gold on the very last keg, maybe lightning will strike in the same spot twice?

What is 12 PM in the notice? Midday on Monday ? Or midnight ? There's no set convention, please please, could you use 24hr format?

I smashed about 40-45 kegs, got a decent amount of silvers, and a few times two premiums from one keg. Only 1 gold in total, though, non-premium Ulfhedinn whom I already had. Feels bad when a duplicate gold comes among the first-four cards.

Yes it depends on luck but on average you were likely to see a gold card in 20 kegs in closed beta. They have definitely changed the odds of receiving a gold/legendary in a keg and even silvers/epics.

Well, in total I've got 24 Golds and 41 Silvers from 263 kegs (4 non Premium Golds and 12 non Premium Silvers) with just few Gold dupes, so I'm pretty happy with my Premium Weekend.

Not sure about that - at the beginning of Gwent I had a lot of bad luck. During the first 30 levels in CB I only got 1 gold (I opened a lot of kegs...,). And I've had a few unlucky periods like that, often followed by more lucky ones at some point.

In the first 50 kegs this weekend I got 6 golds on PC. On PS4 it was 1 gold in 20 kegs.

Ah you must've been very unlucky in that case. There's an old thread here somewhere showing pull rates from closed beta, I opened plenty during and after the wipe around 300+ so it's a pretty large sample. If I recall others shared the same that statistically on average it's 1 in 20 or close for a gold. That's PC btw I don't play on PS4 and don't think there was access for PS4 back then.

Although in open beta and after it seems like players including myself are finding that it's much more harder to pull a gold. 50+ kegs no golds this weekend for myself and prior to before I quit it was around the same. Need to bump the old thread if I find it to see the new pull rates.

as you can see, the rates are pretty close, with only the the gold rate really out of line.... this is because it's so small that any changes in it result in large swings (and the obvious near 20% increase from the guaranteed premiums). at ~1% chance per card this is expected, even though with perfect balance I should have received 4-5 golds in the premium block compared to the one I actually got. As far as I can tell, there is a single variable check per card and if it's over a certain bar, you get that card... which would explain why I got more silvers in the premium set... I just fell short of rolling a gold.

Also the "per card" odds are a bit misleading... you have a much lower chance of rolling a gold in the first four cards than you do for the 5th card (3 pick 1)... something like 5x worse chance to get one in the first 4, and 5x better chance in the 5th. the same goes for silvers. You can see that in the following two tables...

Any idea when they'll have the next premium weekend?

There are no plans at this point. And too many events like that in short time wouldn't make much sense.

At that point there were no plans but looks like things have changed.

But I still think too many events like that are not the best way to go.
