The rules for the contest are:1. All screenshots you can choose from can be found here - http://www.thewitcher.com/forum/index.php?topic=2538.0.2. You can nominate up to 3 screenshots by giving author's nickname and pasting the screenshot in this thread -> http://www.thewitcher.com/forum/index.php?topic=9809.0.3. If someone else suggested the screen you like, don't worry - a screenshot can be nominated as many times as there are users. Provided that one user nominates it only once.4. You cannot nominate your own screenshot.5. Each nomination starts on 1st of every month and lasts two weeks. After that I choose 5 screenshots with most nominations and start a poll in this thread -> http://www.thewitcher.com/forum/index.php?topic=9811.0.6. During next two weeks you have time to vote for those 5 screenshots nominated. The winner will be chosen at the end of the month.7. If two screenshots have the same number of votes, the number of nominations is deciding.8. Screenshots that did not win can be nominated next month.9. Well I have a few from other submitters I like myself. I just tend to agree with Kaeldorn on my own, as it was my shot it took a long time to set up and was a rare capture in game dusk to night transition. ..but, yeah it not like a 'pirate vote', it's what ones were our favs that we didn't make. Mine are... Megamat Kaeldorn JoneloGot it, whew. Good luck all and take MORE screenshots, loved going through those!

Because we have very few nominations, and I'm more than sure that there are some screenshot makers who want to win I decided to change the rules a bit. So, here they come:1. In this thread http://www.thewitcher.com/forum/index.php?topic=9809.0 you post YOUR OWN screenshot. Only ONE screenshot per month allowed.2. Each nomination starts on 1st of every month and lasts two weeks. After that I start a poll in this thread -> http://www.thewitcher.com/forum/index.php?topic=9811.0 - with all screenshots suggested.3. During next two weeks you have time to vote for those screenshots. The winner will be chosen at the end of the month.4. If two screenshots have the same number of votes, the jury (i.e. board moderators + someone from CDPR) will decide about the winner.5. Screenshots that did not win can be nominated next month.6. The prize is... putting the screenshot on the official "The Witcher" community site!When it comes to February dates. You have one more week to suggest your screenshots (till 22nd February) then there will be one more week for voting (till 29th February). Next month it will be just like in the rules.I hope to see more interest now

ok , can I suggest a little change of rules ? We have a screenshot thread already. For this first contest pick, let's say 20 best screenshots and then make a poll to vote on them. Maybe this will help for the lack of popularyty. Just make a poll with 20 best screenshots of your choice . It would be like the Academy nominotions (Moderator's or CDPR nominations in this case).voting is much more simple then pasting a screenshot other - some people doesn't like to read the rules, especially non-english speakers

Kinda sad if it will get significantly more response if people can nominate their own screenshots, though it probably will...Personally I think the location of the thread may also have been a bit of an issue, as not so many people will browse to the fan art section as there would be people who checked the news and the witcher sections (yes, I know the contest was advertised on the news section.. but a thread with a link to the actual thread and the true thread location can make a big difference)

Bah, I don't need to nominate my own work. I would think that if someone was confident enough to win they don't need to. I am a bit confused how this works though, as I already picked the 3 others I liked best and actually the only one of my own I think was worthy was the one Kaeldorn suggested.Does this mean I have to limit it to only one other poster, or one of my own, or can the 3 I picked include one of my own, or did I just misunderstand the changes as I read them? ???
