I hope so at least once should people visit there. Especially if their a fan of the original film.
The thing is, I was sure that I saw the place, because it is right under the rails, which I walked fairly early in January 2021. But I didn't see the dood.
It was about the same thing when I visited now in my shiny flying Caliburn.
I haven't investigated it, but what I think prompted the guy to show is when I called the elevator up. Probably the trigger for setting up the scene is the elevator coming up. That way of setting up a scene is fragile. I argue that the trigger for the gloom/weather should plainly be the proximity to the scene, and that the dood can show up anytime V stands on the platform but is not watching him, and same with disappearance -- V is not on the platform and not watching. Johnny disappears like that all the time, so it's shouldn't prove to be extra coding. Nonetheless, an argument can be made that the dood could just sit there, with all the ambient phasing in as V approaches.
Something specific to me is that I actually didn't watch the Blade Runner, even though I am the right generation for it. I of course forgot what it was, but how it opens wasn't enticing enough to keep watching. I like Road Runner tho, and that is how I imagine myself while in this super-fast 600+ on-road speed Cali! Beep beep!
