Skellige LOD problems (PS4) after patch 1.20

Hi all! , there are bad LOD problems at Skellige on the PS4 version of The Witcher 3 , i find it weird that nobody has noticed these problems before , but it is definitely much , much worse after ... patch 1.20 i think , i'm not sure (the one that added a new user interface) , in fact these problems where never ever present before , and LOD has only gotten worse at this location (while better at Novigrad/Velen , for example) patch after patch , really , if it were a minor location , i wouldn't mind , but come on... it's Skellige , the place that blew most of us away on arrival , it's so annoying , really , i will try and elaborate on this subject the best i can (with pictures , of course)

first of all , everytime at morning or evening at Skellige (around 6 a.m /p.m) the sun light (or the moon one) gives an odd "vignette" effect on distant objects/islands mainly , that were not present before this patch (1.20) , causing an odd effect and ruining what was before such a beautiful region...

take a look:

see those distant islands on the right? , yeah... , that's the "vignette" effect i was talking about earlier

another topic the new water shader ... , ok it looks nice everywhere , except on Skellige , at night or in the morning on the game , it's a flat coloured texture (mainly plain green) , really , if something's not broken , don't touch it , the water before was ... ¿average? ¿bad? maybe , but this is even worse if we are talking about Skellige! there even aren't waves anymore , or at least , not as noticeable as they were with the last water shader

take a look for yourselves fellow forum members , and especially CDProject RED , it's such a pity that this region (if not the most stunning region of the game) is looking so bad now : (

thanks for your time and sorry for this long post.

I believe that the detail levels may have been pulled back some in the engine. It seems like the "vignette" effect is simply less accurate lighting and terrain LoD. Or it could be that overall draw distance was reduced, and the distance fog is closer to the camera now. You can ask CDPR Support to be sure, but that's what it looks like to me.

Yes , i think that you're right SigilFey , thanks for your response , i'll try and contact CDPR support , i hope this gets patched sooner or later.
