Thronebreaker - Dravograd support

Hello fellow players, I would like to ask about certain point in Thronebreaker. I won battle for Dravograd, but I did not have enough gold for support it, because I spent it all on camp improvements So I vas forced to chose to not give gold to Dravograd. I would like to ask somebody, what happens, if you give gold to support Dravograd? What impact it has on story? Thank you in advance for answers.

I doubt it has a significant effect on the story. I had the same problem but it was still possible to get the ideal ending.

Perhaps spending that amount of money will give you more people for your army, but not sure.

I don't recall it having any noticeable effect. It might have impacted morale, though.
