Unable to choose signs after PS4 update

Hi guys, as the title says I've been unable to select signs after an update this morning. I can still bring up the signs menu with L1 but L3 is stuck on Igni.

I'm in Skellige at the moment and noticed it halfway through the The Family Blade quest.

I've tried reloading my all my saves and mounting/dismounting Roach but to no avail. Any ideas?

It could also a controller issue. Do you perhaps have a second controller to try the game with?

Other than that you could try to reinstall the game and see if that fixes the issue.
