VRAM Usage in DX12 and DX11

Hello, i want to share my findings about the VRAM Usage in DX12 and DX11
Here's my Specs:
Intel Core i5 10500H 2.5 GHz
NVidia GeForce RTX 3050 4GB Laptop GPU 40W TGP
RAM 16GB (2x8GB)

I am currently play this on 1080p Ultra+ Settings no RT with TAAU in DX11 and DLSS Quality in DX12.

First, this is VRAM in DX11

I think this is interesting cause' the vram difference is big and my gpu vram is only 4GB, in DX12 after some minutes playing i will have big fps drops issues and the way to mitigate that is try to reload the texture by changing texture setting and reverting back to ultra+.

Otherwise, in DX11 I don't have any issues but i lost ability to use DLSS and the Grass itself looks better in DX12.

I just wanna share this to you guys and I hope CDPR fixes this soon, cheers!
 
In DX12, my VRAM pretty much maxes out around the 10GB mark on my RTX 3080, as do just most graphic intensive games. Where I have the issue is that previously System RAM used to hover around 13GB before the next gen update during long play-throughs, it skyrockets to over 25GB with this new version and the higher it goes, the lower my FPS goes, usually less than 10-15 minutes.
 
4 GB VRAM just isn't enough for Ultra+ textures which are going to be 2k and 4k textures ..... You should be setting everything to High and even that might be pushing the limits with just 4 GB VRAM
