Honestly I will probably cycle through these all, depending on my mood.

I am a fan of neomilitarism, though.

"You can have it in any color you want... As long as its black."

voted 9 . I rather make my own look, then go for default . So we shall see, what we are given . Mix and match !

Chamaeleon- adaptation is key for survival for pacifists and assassins alike.

Will definitely dress like Arnie for my Terminator run though.

I'd pick my own style, unless it is required to dress exactly as (pick a style)...

Do you think that the NPCs will care about our style if we make our own sauce ? I'm afraid if we choose to pick up one X vest, Y shirt, Z pants and W shoes, then it's not enough of each to be considered as being dressed "with style"... what do you think ?

Daydreaming again, but I'd find super cool if in the endgame we somehow meet a fashion stylist that we helped sooner in the game, and as a reward they ask us to launch our own "style" according to what clothing we like... and two days later, some people on the streets start dressing like you. (daydream mode : off)

Fun idea. Ive had some similiar thoughts, I think it would be fun if there was story choices and depending on those choices, one makes a song about it and next time when you turn on your radio you will hear it. Somehow be "interactive" with the game's media sounds like fun. Cyberpunk has Media Role after all.

Absolutely. It might not subverse the world, but it does strengthen the value of "your actions are meaningful"

Yup, only problem is that this kind of stuff tend to be more "sandbox" feature. Maybe CDPR doesnt want them because of it.

I can understand that, because such "anodine" features like express one's creativity through a videogame (when that feature isn't the main purpose of the game, ofc) requires too many efforts.

From my understanding "sandbox" features eats alot of pc-power, if there something what changes the world etc. Destructible terrrain, buildable houses etc.

Yeah, of course ! I was more referring to the context of the thread. I think the game performance doesn't go nuts if the creative options are limited in an amount of choices. Like having many features for one's clothing part (like putting your shirt inside / outside your pants, tear the sleeves apart, change color, print a logo, etc.).

Same for your example with the song being displayed on the radio. You could pick up a topic from a list, and lyric bits to choose from. As there are variables attached to them, the song will have a specific meaning, the game would know that meaning coming from it, and NPCs will then react. It's more of a long process and doesn't affect the performance.

On the other hand, I'd find it extremely difficult to mix free city building with a handcrafted map like CP77, if that was your point, even though there's always a solution like in Skyrim with personal home building or even Fallout 4. But CDPR isn't going to let us build stuff, I think it's too far from the game goals. I'd expect vehicle customization and creativity in clothing and crafting "stuff" with the crafting skills.

3 all the way. Looking sleek and sexy while still having substance is a must for me. Not like Kitsch, which everything is focused on looks and often exaggerated.

Rockerboy for melee and JC Denton style like post #8 for stealth.

However, if the variety and quality of the clothing in the game is excellent, then I'll probably just mix and match...though I'd be lying if I said that stats don't come first ;)

I finally found a Character creator that would totally suit my need to make an awesome and stylish V...
Character Creator example 1.jpg

If CDPR somehow finds a way to make the CC this extensive and extremely varied in the options for customization, then it would and will be a greater game than it already shaping up to be. Please make Cyberpunk 2077 Character creator be like this, it doesn't matter whether we will be in an 80% FPP locked view of our character, but please God let it be like this. Is amazing that for every tab like face, eyes, hair, etc, the choices are immense.
