Cyberpunk 2077 - Your Ideas For A Dream RPG

In Cyberpunk 2077 i would like these things who were in Vampire the Masquerade bloodlines:
-Every class would have it's own unique armor line
-Home, where you can watch the news and receive side quest from someone and unlike bloodlines you could upgrade it and search the internet in your computer
-Some key characters would react or talk differently because of your class
Now what i would like in CP2077:
- driving
- using public transport
- sex with your lover
- your past could get you in way you least expected
- be involved in bar fights
- dark humor
- dark, gritty and gloomy environment .
- no true distinction between good and evil.
- some Easter eggs from Cd projekt and Cyberpunk movies, games, books and video games

I hope they do not do armor lines based on role/class. I do not want to be able to tell what role/class someone is at a glance.

I'm sure not. That would be a huge departure from PnP and with little reason in a modern game. Anyone can wear a flack jacket - you're more likely to put your less combat experienced people in heavier armour so you can keep them alive, really. Not like they have to do anything...useful..anyway.

Oh joy, the netrunner is looking at porn again and the rockerboy is shooting heroin between his toes while the real characters actually do stuff. :p

There's a lot of pages here so it's impossible to tell what's been suggested, but I'll try.

- Really smooth combat system that will draw people back into PvP time and again, if there is any. I'm actually not interested in much PvP, being a huge PvE fan, but I know it's what helps keep a game alive.

- Like other MMO's, AWESOME boss fights! Having a few 'raid bosses' or 'world bosses' would be nice. Some crazy cool, tough guys to kill.

- I know it's going to be based on awesome stuff like bladerunner, however I really do hope you'll make it really dark and crime-filled. I used to play a cyberpunk text-based rpg online that is kind of dead now, it was called Vile City. It was actually sub-par with some poorly executed concepts but it was great! I'd really love to see a whole 'underworld' kind of feel, I dunno how to articulate what I feel.

- being Cyberpunk-ish and stuff, the artstyle will be amazing and I'm sure you guys will deliver a spectacular game, I have undying faith! I really hope that there will be really solid interfaces. A weird clunky UI will be a bit of a turn-off for some I believe, as it will add to the tedious factor. Smooth interfaces, clear text, etc. will do wonders.

- The rare/unique mob concept is a brilliant one I'd love to see in the game. (The concept of having random rare spawns of mobs that drop special gear sometimes).

- I'm unsure what you guys will be doing with the soundtrack, but I'd LOVE a really awesome one. I know it can't be completely vangelis-bladerunner-esque because that wouldn't be entirely fitting for an MMO, but please if you do have the time/resources, great sound-effects and game OST will go a long long way.

- I hope for a few 'next-level' kind of quests, of course not many because they'd be taxing to make - but story mission kind of quests that will be a little more emotionally-intensive, or they bring gameplay a brief "holy shit this is getting AWESOME" moment. You can probably think of some games that accelerate to this level at times :D

sorry for the way I articulate, I can never convey what I'm thinking well :(

- I wish for the best and I think this game will rock!

omg whoops LOL

I honestly actually read it was an mmo somewhere! false information :(

I'm actually more excited that it's just an rpg now! The Witcher series are spectacular and I'm sure this will be AWESOME!

Oh well, that happens, welcome to the forums, dude :]

Alright, alright one more dream: hoverbikes. No explanation necessary.

For reference, Benson Violator (I think) from one of the cyberpunk books.

I am not refering to any sort of pure sci fi anti gravity device. I am refering to something like a maglev or monorail, (which are already in 2020,) but instead of riding on a metal rail and using a magnetic field to 'hover' just off it I suggest a layer of polarised metal under the road which can be ridden with a EM field projected by vehicles.

FYI, we have this tech now and could do this today.

Yep... Totally agreed maglevs are already here and now just too expensive for most of the countries to be introduced.... I reccomend you a fabulous read about the conecept of maglevs inside a vacuum tunnels so both friction and air ressistance are eliminated which allows to achieve super unbelievable velocity. These are all scientificly legit concepts. Simply not affordable now. Just think of it a travel from Europe to US in like 2 hours only.... WICKED! :D

I would like it if it's possible to import our own music/playlist to be played during specific game times, like while driving or during combat.

Yep, an ear implant that plays our own music. But I wonder if they would have to use third party software to make it work.

Vactrains. They are very cool. A friend of mine did a paper on them a few years ago for his degree. They go about 1,000 mph if memory serves. Imagine LA to NY in under 3 hours or Berlin to Paris in 45 minutes!

Make it a hybrid vehicle. I watched a documentary the other night about the future of transport technology. One of the idea's was for electric cars that can ride on a monorail as well as the road. To get around town, the car just acted like a nomrla car, but for longer journeys you 'drove onto' a monorail line.

So lets say that the overhead road ways get a layer of magnetic material under them and this allows vehicles designed to use it to levitate above the ground and use far less power to achieve this form of motion.

So... you have your car stuck on a rail system that controls speed and direction once you get on the highway?

That is the idea that was proposed in the documentary. I am suggesting something closer to the vehicles in the 2012 version of Total Recall, but they can drive on normal roads as well under their own power. I also am not suggesting they work 'upside down' like the ones in Total Recall.

They would basically act the same as a hovercraft, but would achieve much higher speeds and would be afforded much higher levels of control.

Implant sounds cool, or headphones for someone who decidedly wants to remain non-aug.

I think as long as the sound file is in the right format, and its not cumbersome for the game to access it, then it shouldn't be a problem to play our own tracks in-game. The game will have its own player, so it should be able to figure that what it means when we ask to play, shuffle etc.

I mean, the game could come with a provision to allow tracks placed in a certain directory to be played when required. I've never modded sounds for a game, but that's usually how item mods work.

I'm betting you would need to install a third party software (Perhaps you would even need a firmware upgrade if the implant is not originally designed to work as a music player.) I imagine there would also be a "legal" version and there would be an "illegal" version that has special "benefits". (Same with everything else in Cyberpunk)

Can we get some awesome mechs? This is a sci-fi game after all! :D Plus, who doesn't want to ride in a giant robot from time to time?

Ok im going to give some suggestion

Breathing believable open world (immersion):
I want immerse myself in night city enjoy the bad and the good side of it...

I want walk in the streets and enter in cyberware or dress store.. Or simple go in a club and take a drink....sitting on the stool...

I want my character can lose limbs eventually replacing it with cyberware....

I want exploration and a lot of situation to solve... Joined with the mainquest or not...

I want npc walking around talking with eachother or eating a sandwitch on the road...

Customization::

I want the opportunity to create my character for scratch choice Male or Female....

I want be able to dress how i want (that is also usefull because Cyberpunk uses also style))

Customization is always welcome.....

It dosn't have to be too much shooter... stay loyal to the feeling of pen and paper game and it will be grat

I don't know if anybody has mentioned this before but I personally would like to see maybe not exacto skyrim like skill levelling system but something quite simillar. I remember that It gives you such a freedom to use every skill is avaiable in the game and mastering it through the practice. I loved it! Especially archery was such a great fun! And that satisfaction when you elevate your skill up (sometimes a few times up) by killing that giant with bow and suddenly your patience and cold blood pays off that was just perfect...

I would love other cyberpunk movies/games easter eggs like i don't know an Rick Deckard apartment from Blade Runner on a hotel you may end up entering on the game i don't know.. Just somenthing that makes the game more fun during the gameplay :)
