[SOLVED] the spellbreaker quest bugged?

so i'm at the part where you light the candles in orer to unlock the chest but when i do the ''right order it still hurts me

so i've checked on multiple sites and they all say that the middle drawing on phillepa's notes is the right one and i even followed a youtube video step by step and it still dosn't work

is it a bug or did i miss something?

EDIT: a restart fixed the problem

Did you quit the game by closing it then opening the witcher 2 or did you just restart a new game from scratch? I am having the same issue.
