Seamusgod, those pictures you posted are very old pre-pre alpha shots taken from the demo they created for promoting their Kickstarter campaign. Here are few more recent ones:

The Bare Mettle general forum is open to the public; however, you are correct about the insider forum - it is limited to people who helped support the game. There's not too much exciting content in the insider forum to date. That should change once the alpha and beta versions are released
