Are there Seasons?

Does anyone know the answer to this are there actual seasons in Witcher 3. I was in the Skellige Isles last night and I could have sworn there was more Sea Ice, Fog and Snow than there was the last time I was there. It got me thinking as well as the night day cycle was there a Season Cycle?

not in the real sense, just snow in skellige and warm wet in velen

Well, that's unusual.

As far as I recall, there should only be snow in Heatherton.

Are you on Playstation, or PC? If PC, any mods?

Snow sometimes stays even after Scenes from a Marriage quest is finished. Happens to me about half the time I play it.
It's probably a very minor glitch and the game "forgets" to switch to the regular weather.
