Best Weapon Type

So far in my playthrough i have found Magic, Master, Relic and Witcher Gear

Overall which class seems best?

I know with Armor its grandmaster but not sure about weapons

Hard to say between Relic/Witcher gear.
Depend of your level hence you can't "upgrade" the stuff (and the bonuses that you want to keep on your sword/armor). But I generally always go for witcher gear, switching between cat/wolf gear in function of my level (and a good point, I think witcher gear keep runes installed on gear when you upgrade it).

Grandmaster Feline or Ursine swords are the best IMO, but I hope you don't mind crafting/hunting down components because they require it.

That being said, my fav sword is the one you can get at

Yeah i got that from doing that task but i was around 30-31 at the time

hunting material is not a problem. will give me something to do after i clean up all maps and before i start 2nd playthrough
