Bigotry and the Witcher 3
ok, I'm going to be very careful setting up the OP because I'm hoping for some thoughtful discussion, not a thread that ends badly.
I visit a range of forums for a range of games. Sometimes there will be a thread that touches on how male, female and gay characters are represented. Before long, a bigoted person will pop up expressing hate and (here's the bit that concerns me)...
how much they are looking forward to playing The Witcher 3.
Geralt's story is his own, set in a gritty world with somewhat of a medieval culture, that's great, I really enjoyed the Witcher 2.
Am I right to believe that The Witcher 3 is not the 'poster boy' for the bigoted, and whilst it tells a particular story, that CDPR are not in reality allowing the bigotry expressed by some posters in forums and on youtube to be reinforced in its game?
