Bug Audio coming from speakers with headphones plugged in

I haven't seen this mentioned in a while. Sometimes when loading I will hear sound effects through the headphones, but the dialogue comes through the speakers. Also, the entire cutscence when you finally get it on with yen, that whole scene played through speakers. The headphones muted and the sound came from speakers. This has happened on two different computers of mine.

I am using hd onboard audio and my front panel jack, my speakers are plugged into the back. Both machines are z77 chipset boards running win7.

I would also like to add, that I have been running this setup for years and have only seen this in one of the far cry games I forget if it is 3 or 4. Hundreds of other games have not had problems on either of these boards.
