Bugs as of May 3, 2024
Note: I am a new player, only a couple of months into the game, but I've reached level 60 three times and have played over 300 hours.
1) Muamar only offered me the car stealing quests on my first play-through. I tried ever hint and trick I could find, but the 2nd and 3rd play-through never saw any flashing wheel icons on the mini map or received the quest Push It To The Limit.
2) NPC's killed while in a vehicle are usually un-lootable, when you exit the vehicle. This is a consistent issue across multiple play-throughs. An icon shows up both on the mini map and on the body itself, but can't be looted. I've tried leaving the immediate area and returning, with no luck.
3) Ledge grabbing is unreliable, as is trying to move through a window or opening, abd grabbing an enemy from behind. This makes gampeplay very inconsistent and can lead to flatlines or being caught while stealthing around. If you're within reach of an enemy and behind them, you should be able to grab them, right? Only about 3 times out of 4, with some attempts just offering no Grab prompt at all. The same problem exists for trying to grab a ledge.
4) There is no option to turn off music completely. Even if you put all volumes at 0 in the Game Settings, you still have to listen to radios. The Z or R icon at bottom left in the hud can be red and therefore off, but music still plays somewhere, even when driving. I don't mean stereos that you walk past, but music playing nearby consistently as you drive.
5) This may not be a bug, but it's very frustrating. While questing, the main story advancement quests keep appearing as the next quest to be done after every Gig, Side Mission, Cyberpsycho and NCPD quest. That's several hundred times you have to unselect a quest, when using the directional guidance to go from objective to objective. I'm not asking to ignore the main quests, just to be able to hold off on doing them until I'm ready.
Aside from these bugs and a few game glitches, I dearly love Cyberpunk and Phantom Liberty. Please help make my gaming experience less infuriating.
