Claywich barber is missing even after a relog

I can't find him either - I have to go to Oxenfurt whenever I want a simple shave.

If the monster theory is true I'm gonna escort every NPC I free from now on. I have become too accustomed to other games where NPCs despawn once they exit the field of view.

Escorted the claywitch merchant, bought the Gwent cards from him when he reached destination; fast traveled out the town and returned after: merchant is gone.

1) Unlocked barber cage
2) Followed to Claywitch
3) Shaved free the first time
4) Fast travel to another location
5) Back to Claywitch
6) Barber is gone.

I found him at a house in Claywich just next to the shipyard, but he wasn't shown on my minimap
