connection issues in the middle of a game make game freeze and you lose game

Hi,

I've recently lost a few games due to connection issues.
It starts with the usual message that you lost the connection (even though if you Alt Tab to the browser you can confirm there is internet access) and then after a couple of seconds you think you are back on the game, but the game is non responsive (not even forfeit works, you click on the button but nothing happens).
Eventually you need to kill the game with Alt F4...

Any tricks to prevent this?

It's just happening to me that too, the game stays frozen and then closes and I've lost 3 games today because of that; It also happens to me when I try to enter the store

In case of connection issues and lags, please check out the official support website:

You could also try verifying the game files, just in case. But if nothing helps, it‘s best to contact support (the link is on the same page).

The also mentioned store issue might have something to do with that issue (in case you have the same type of gpu):

maybe if you lose a game it should be considered a nonranked match due to connection issues?
