Recently I run into a weird issue that ONLY in witcher 3, my cpu i5 8600K will not boost to set 4.3GHz 6-core frequency, instead running on 3.6Ghz base clock. Any other games and applications are fine. I turned off all power saving, even on idle the cpu will run at 4.3Ghz, but as soon as I launch witcher 3, even in the manu the clock speed will cap at 3.6Ghz. I have no idea what causes this. Please help. The chipset is z370 in a clevo p775tm-1g gaming laptop.
