Envoys, wineboys won't start

A while ago my brother installed Blood and Wine on my Xbox and played it as a new save. I have now finished the game and want to play the DLC but the quest to start it was never triggered. Blood and Wine is still "installed" in store. Will it never start now?

Has the expansion been installed via your brother's account or your own? When you start the game, does the main menu say that BAW is installed?
