Gwent -The Purpose - What is it ?

My understanding is the game is no longer supported, so what is the purpose if your not going to get new content ? I have noticed more and more the connection to the server cuts out, many of my loses are because of this, Win / Lose was never my goal, completing the contracts and various quests is what I like, but there is nothing new, 950 reward keys and no new books, 300,000 ore 400, 000 scraps
and no new cards, no new journey, and the Seasonal Cycles are just repeats, not even any new ornaments to look forward to.
Yet they are still charging money for various boards or card backs. Not worth it !!
Sorry folks I don't get it, if it was still supported I wouldn't complain.
I will keep playing because it gives me something to do, but I won't spend money on a non supported game

the hope they may support it again, i think they will do something about it after witcher 1 remake and witcher 4 relase, both of those game will include like witcher 3 a gwent mini game for sure (such a shame if not) so maybe they will put more buget in
