@XSon I have not any other mods installed. I even reinstalled the game, because I thought there was sth wrong with the patch. The script merger of course says they are no conflicts found...

I have a patch 1.08.4 installed and have no dlcs installed. Still doesnt work....shit. No idea what it is...

Wait, looks like there are some missing lines:
Error [modturbolighting]game\player\playerwitcher.ws(3153): Could not find function 'LogWithLabelAndValue'
Error [modturbolighting]game\player\playerwitcher.ws(3502): Could not find function 'LogWithLabelAndValue'
Error [modturbolighting]game\player\playerwitcher.ws(392: Could not find function 'LogWithValueStr'
Error [modturbolighting]game\player\playerwitcher.ws(4307): Could not find function 'LogWithLabel'

As i said before try to download again the mod and install it and verify the cache of your games, you know, to be sure nothing else is missing.

Does somebody know why there still is a big difference cutscene lighting and gameplay lighting with 1.0.3? I thought the gameplay lighting was back?

Edit: My mistake the lighting is the same. But sometimes on skellige there is mist in gameplay phases and no mist in custscenes. Very strange.

STLM Warm vs Cold Comparison Shots

Hey everyone,
in case anyone is still wondering whether the cold or warm colors better suit your taste, I just did some comparison shots in White Orchard. Doesn't really make my decision any easier, as I love certain aspects about both of them. Still worth sharing I guess, as both presets look gorgeous:D
BTW: Cold is always first

Thanks for the comparisons, both have their issues but I think I'm going with the normal super turbo one for now.
I just dislike the lime/green weird colour I guess.

I agree. The lime green is the only problem I have with this mod. It's still absolutely fantastic though.

I use Cold for Skellige and Warm for everything else.

I tried playing with vanilla lighting again, and I just can't anymore after playing with this mod. The way Geralt (and his hair) is shaded/colored, the way NPCs don't look out of place, the distant LOD, the way the colors of sunrises and sunsets affect Geralt and the environment make it look pretty close to some early-mid 2014 screenshots, mostly everything is so much better and I can't go back.

I'm really hoping they release that updated modkit (or was that a rumor?) soon, so Essenthy could hopefully iron out some issues (like AO still, shadowed forest areas look a bit weird, when it rains it goes back to vanilla lighting, and there's not many different weather conditions I think, although I'm not sure if the last one can be fixed).

Using the default version.

My third playtrough was all with STLM (Normal) and it was an amazing experience. BUT now, after I finished main quest, I decided to ago back to Vanilla simply because I just couldn't stand all that broken lighting in cutscenes and ugly looking distant trees all over the place. Sure STLM makes places like Novigrad, Velen look almost as good as E3 2014 demo BUT there's also places that looks far worse with it. I for example 100% prefer default Vanilla look in Skellige and Kaer Morhen. Those places are looking top notch on Vanilla lighting.

I loved STLM but I love Vanilla + Essenthy's Swamp Lighting mod combo just as much.

Just a quick question:
The dark water and permanent fog on the Kaer Morhen map. Do only I have these issues (I have almost 40 mods installed, so maybe there are some compatibility problems) or is it the same for everyone?

I am wondering this mod is compatible with Extreme weather mod or not? so could someone advise me about this matter?
Many thanks for your support

You can use both but they are not 100% compatible since they both are modifying existing weather conditions. You can read more about this here.

Does anyone know if using the Cold Colours mod, without the main STLM mod folder would work with regards to only changing the colour scheme?

Shame, i'd like to play the game in that colour scheme but avoid the uncontrollable bugs such as light shafts etc, and use with KNG weather mods.

If it's just the colours you're after you can use SweetFX to emulate those colours without any performance cost.

Buuut, you can aslo try combining STLM, cold colours and extreme weather conditions which I did here
