New Sound Card issues

I just replaced my old Sound blaster with a new sound card but now the music plays but no dialogue.
What I am looking for is the location in the Witcher 3 files where it points the game to a sound card.
or a method to have the game detect the new card without having to reinstall the game. I don't want to upgrade from V-1,22 to V1.31 if I can avoid it.

One of the posts linked there is actually mine, when I had audio issues as well at the game's launch. I really hope this will help you!

Let us know how that fix works out. I think the game is just being stubborn. You should not need to reinstall games to have them simply detect new hardware.
