Old bug in a house south of Novigrad

There was this mission of an old woman who asks Geralt to clean her home infested with monsters. Told him he could open a hidden chest to claim his reward. (Not sure of this is where we first meet Letho, but if its not then its nearby.) There is a hidden room with a corpse and a note that states that the woman's husband killed it and hid it there.

The bug is about Geralt not having the option to tell her. If I recall correctly, if you dont loot the chest Geralt wont have the option to say it. If we loot it, we will have the option.

Sorry for the ambiguity, this was at least a couple years ago.

Well, that quest is too long but if you are sure there‘s a dialogue option missing (and Geralt didn‘t automatically tell it to her), I doubt there‘s much you can do about it other than reloading a save game right before the quest started.
