Patch 2.01

+
The rub of reverting back to a previous version is that the bulk of changes are to PL as well, so your experience will still be marred with numerous issues.

I rolled back to 2.0 last night; First thing I notice is that Erebus is gone. I went back to the mission and picked it up again POOF! It vanishes entirely. Vast majority of icons for anything from weapons to cyberware are gone. This on top of the problems 2.0 already had. I have no idea what the status of cars is as i don't want to play the game with it in this state.

Shameful. They got cocky, ran commercials and interviews bragging about the game "The game is fixed" *BLAAOOOWW!* and started slacking immediately afterward.

You are probably right, on the other hand there is only so much you can try.
Sadly, if nothing helps, at some point you can only drop the game and never look back.

Its really a shame. Stories, characters and the general feel of Night City is realy, realy great, but they simply cannot get their spagetti code fixed, so it seems.

At this point, I think I'm just going to hurry up and finish Phantom Liberty, and then pack my bags to leave Night City for a few months lol. I'm going to give them time to put out a few patches, and some patches to fix those patches, before I make a return trip.

I'm guessing it's just the engine that's being used, and not developer incompetence (patch 2.0 was pretty great after all), but I swear every time this game updates I'm excited to see what was added and scared to see what was borked.

Anyway, let me get back to Phantom Liberty before they roll out another damn patch lmao

Is anyone else having the issue where you can't change clothes? When I'm outside, I can select clothes to wear and it shows them in the slot, but I'm still wearing my old clothes in-game. I can change clothes at my closet in my apartment, but not while out and about.

Sounds like you're wearing a glam wardrobe outfit.
You need to click the full body icon and turn off that, to see what you're -actually- wearing in the slots.
The Closet isn't to change clothes, it's to setup a glam outfit to overwrite whatever you have equipped.
Which usually looks awful, since only specific stuff has stats now, and you wear that for stats, not appearance.

I noticed this as well. If I create an outfit in my wardrobe and decide to use it I can't "overwrite it" with the clothes I find outside.

Disassembling a Budget Arms Slaught-O-Matic will now give 1 crafting component.

This should never have been nerfed.
They won't let us buy components anymore.
Now we have to grind through the game and struggle to upgrade stuff for lack of components.

You never could?
The wardrobe has always overwritten your equipped gear.

Equipped Gear = Stats
Wardrobe = Glam

Just turn it off in your inventory. But honestly, it's better to just fix a glam outfit and let it overwrite anything you have equipped. Because you get a nicer, consistent look to your character.

Ah, that makes sense then. Thank you.

  • Lowered the value of the Attribute check required to enter the area where the Thermal Katana can be looted.
Gameplay
  • Made it possible to properly switch to Arm cyberware by cycling through weapons.
  • Addressed an issue that could cause V to become invulnerable to all damage.
  • A wrecked NCPD cruiser without wheels won't be patrolling the streets of Night City anymore.
  • Fixed an issue where some obsolete mods in the Inventory and Stash weren't properly exchanged for a new weapon mod.

  • Fixed an issue where the UI could show controller inputs when playing on keyboard and mouse.
  • Players unable to get achievements due to an issue that prevented Phantom Liberty achievements from unlocking on PC before a backend fix implemented on the day of the release will have them retroactively unlocked on GOG and Steam after loading a save from that playthrough. For the Epic Games Store, the issue is still under investigation.

no fsr3 D:

I received the email about the Vigilante as soon as I had finished the Heist. It was not there at all until after that point in the game. But when I checked my email after the scene with Johnny, it was there and in my inventory.

Except you didn't... Guys, you're killing me here.
I noticed this as well. If I create an outfit in my wardrobe and decide to use it I can't "overwrite it" with the clothes I find outside.
You could before? I thought you always had to return to the apartment or a store to setup wardrobe then you could select from the saved preset in the open world.

Still no Radio UI and Tone in Vehicles, every Radio in the Landscape is like in wisper mode.... The wall is still showing Zero crafted Weapons. Weapons from Enemies are often 90% stuck in the ground and the Weapon Symbol is missing completly. Using a Vehicle after standing on a Street, the next Car behind me, crashes into me like it needs to win the Formula One Grand Prix... Flying Bodys after hacking them. Coming from a Menu Screen into the Game sometimes produces a Light Flash like someone stuck a Flashbang into V's Mouth and detonated it... Some Crafting Recipes are no where to be found so far... Downgraded Cyberware after loading. Regular Gamecrashes wich seem to be fixed with 2.01 so far.
All that new Featuresa with 2.0 wich still persist after 2.01. The only good and realy nice Feature was the Police and that was nothing wich bothered me a lot.
I do not like the new Car System. Don't know though if it was added in 2.0. Last Time I played was 1.62 and I had nearly nothing to complain about. Even at Game release nearly everything worked except for the Burning Croch Quest wich was fixed later. But now after 2.0 wow what a Bug Party...
I thought I give it another playthrough before going for Phantom Liberty but as things stand at the Moment I am having quite a lot of Doubts. Why would I purchase Something that makes things worse. If I want to play Bugfree I could always go for the legacy Patch.

Only bugs I’m still noticing so far are:

1. Stash wall is not displaying all guns;
2. Apartment radio isn’t interactive;
3. MAXIMUM MIKE and his conspiracy theories aren’t on Morro Rock radio anymore? :sad:

Other than that, everything is working properly for me.

Glad to see the fixes. I gave Jonny a mean reply and have been stuck with the Matrix view style, sound noises and a glitchy map for a week and some. The vending machine questline fixes it for some reason but I had to spend my one time attribute distribution to add Body points to move the trashcan (I tried using a car to push it but guess the game is not there yet). This brings me to my next point: can you just let us respect our character on free will? have us go to a ripper doc or something and spend some cash to re allocate those points. The game is too large to start a new playthrough every time i want to try a new build and PS5 doesn't support mods. I think this simple change would make A LOT of people happy.
