Maybe cards with active abilities that are already on the board could have these interactions. There are already similar cards like these in the game though, just that you yourself don't control their abilities (ambush, engines, deathwish). But you have to call them "passive" abilities (with exception of some units). Cards with active abilities, maybe (new) items attached to them, could be another more targeted form of abilities, you're more in control of.
