I'm not sure that it's possible to have a more boring desktop than mine:
I keep no icons on my desktop. As a result of that and not remembering I'd changed my desktop background last night, I was briefly confused when the game seemed to be running the moment I booted up Windows.

It has quick boot features, which aren't actually all that quick. But it doesn't have anything like the Quick Resume feature on Xbox, or an iPad. I know a few people who just use "sleep" mode, rather than ever turning off their machines, but that's never worked well for me.Oh, does Windows now include some kind of Quick Resume?
Pretty, but every time I see something like that, my OCD brain says that the poor girl looks like she's freezing. Also, she and the wolf have the same eyes.
