Show-off your deck!

+
The topic says everything - since there's a new deck builder on GwentDB (http://www.gwentdb.com/deckbuilder)
Let me start with my deck!

I have question about your deck. What is the point of using Ves, if you don't have any Blue Stripes Commando in your deck??
(They are not created by Ves, they are only played from the deck)

I also created my first deck with new cards, Skellige, heavily focused on resurrection and discarding the cards :)

Wrote the same in comments under the deck on gwentDB. Also i'm not sure if poor infantry works like it was in KTS since card discribtion changed.

Looks like a legit skellige-discard deck :)

Well heres mine also very heavy discard themed skellige deck: http://www.gwentdb.com/decks/3551-skellige-wsparcie-z-zaswiatow

Do you know if we will get all the cards right away and we can test all the decks we want or we will have to find them and win them during beta?

You will need to buy card packs with in game currency or real moneys to get new cards. At the begining we gonna get basic decks. From what i remember CDP guys said that they will want to test their in game shop and real cash transaction system so we gonna be able to buy packs in beta and than they probably will be deleted, at release you gonna get the same amount of packs you bought for real cash as you did in CBT. I dont also think that you gonna got anything if you will buy packs with in game currency only.

@Keymaker7 left you a comment on gwentDB.

This is my take on discard decks

http://www.gwentdb.com/decks/3541-discard-king

,,

And this is a deck that revolves around using Geralt cards extensively through ridding them of gold status + blue stripes because of the countless medics I put there they will buff each other very well and I have a few ways to get them out whenever I want

http://www.gwentdb.com/decks/3582-blue-striped-geralt

Note:The leader should be Foltest but GwentDB won't let me change it ,, this deck doesn't care about promotion so Henselt shouldn't be here

Hmm interesting. What about if you would put 1-2 Thunderbolt potions in that deck. So you could buff your queensguards all at once with just one potion to 7, which would basicly protect your other cards at any point of the match. It would be also a good scorch lure, and that would work in your favor also, since you could review them again and buff cerys even more :)
Also even if you would bumped your deck size to 30 from 28 it wouldnt change anything, coz the amount of draw/discard here will give you optimal hand in 80% of the matches.

That's a very interesting idea ,, I probably should add some

Edited the post above just in case you missed it :) Thats why i was saying that Skellige is going to be the most difficult to play against. It gonna be a nightmare to play against those Skellige players. Since other decks will involve around 2-3 main and common tactics (from what i can see now), it gonna be easy to just ealry break some of those in first 1-2 turns. With Skellige it gonna be a constant mindfking till the last round lol

True, I didn't notice that when I was checking the deck :)

I saw it, thank you for good advice. I upgraded my deck.

Nice deck, similar to my idea. The main difference is that you used thunderbolt potions and I took Clan Heymaey Skalds.

In general, with these cards available on GwentDB I see possibility to create two differently focused deck per each faction. For example for Skellige it will be ressurection deck and wounding deck (control deck, like one of the last Shifu's decks)

Those our theory decks can be some sort of goal. Because at the beginning we get only basic cards :) But with time those goals will be achieved I think :)

I can see much more than 2 ;)

With the thunderbolt pots in my deck i still think about them, i may take them off or leave 2 maybe. Basicly i think i'm gonna optimise all my decks later on so it will be easier to get optimal hand (which isnt the problem with skellige since we have like 12 redraws in those decks).

And it is very good thing. I said two after quick check all the cards. I happy that there will be more options, because it brings more diversity to the game. I am really sure we discover even more options during playing in beta with gaining new cards to our collection and trying to fit them into our decks.

I hope we gonna make it into beta in first place :p Agree 100%. Once we will be able to play we gonna find alot more options and tactics, actuall matches will show us what will actually work and what seems to work while doing theorycrafting. But thats the whole fun :) Every online game is the best at the begining when everyone are on that learning process.

Similar to one of mine decks: http://www.gwentdb.com/decks/3537-potwory-nieczulosc

those gonna be a b*tch to play against, but my NR promote deck and Scoia'tael buffing deck will probably be able to go toe to toe with those type of decks.
Monsters deck definitely needs a mechanical overhaul just as they did with Skellige. Weather decks are way too viable for a deck which a Sea Cucumber can play competently

my Scoia resil/Merc deck:
