Skill tier limited to 5 points

Have any of you had the issue where you can't unlock the next skill tier because each skill is limited to 1/1 upgrades and you need 6 points in a branch to unlock the next tier? Don't know why this is happening. Any help would be appreciated.

Tried removing them and even re-installing but it doesn't fix the problem.

It might still be a mod issue. Mods can affect save games and other parts of the game. Removing them isn‘t always that simple. I‘ll quote SigilFey (from a different thread):

When removing mods, it's important to follow any step-by-step instructions that mod authors may provide. Sounds like there could be residual files or edits to game files that are still there. (Removing mods during the course of a playthrough may also make saved games unplayable or buggy. Adding mods is no problem. Removing mods after you've saved your game with them running can create big problems. Rule of thumb: once you've settled on a mod list and start playing the game, you'll need to keep using them until the end of the game.)

0.) Back up your saves.

1.) I would delete all mods and managers if you're using any.

2.) Uninstall the game completely. Be sure you go into the AppData folders and manually root out anything TW3-related.

3.) Use CCleaner to clean the Registry. Run the scan repeatedly, until it reports "No conflicts." Restart your PC and run it repeatedly again. Keep that up until the program reports "No conflicts" immediately after a restart.

4.) Reinstall the game to a new directory path on the root of your drive. Such as:

C:\MyRPGgames\TW3WH\...

Something you're sure was not the same as the last installation.

5.) Start the game and see if the old saved games will work with the new installation. If not, your only options are to begin a new game or install the same mods as you were using before.
