will terrain tesslation be fixed in a patch or has it been scrapped ? the guys at nvidia concluded that its not working :doc:

i think it will surely be patched. why would you include a setting in the game if it changes nothing?

I heard, that the Terrain Tesslation is good as is. More would only drag down the performance massively without a noticeable visual improvement.

Thats the Terrain Quality setting, isn't it.. well, I hope that they are going to fix it.. if its in the options, and right now it doesn't do anything, so that must be a bug or some problem

I'd trade tesselation on buildings for ground tesselation in a heartbeat. In my eyes it makes a huge difference. Towns feel completely different with all the bricks stones, cobblestones and whatnot "sticking" out.

I soo hope it gets patched back in at some point

I really hope it gets brought back, you can almost tell that in certain areas it is supposed to be there which makes those places look hella odd.

Tessellation is there, the issue up for discussion is the fact that the tessellation setting in the .ini file currently does not impact the tessellation that we see in game
