The ending that I got. What?! (SPOILERS)

Why should an ending where Ciri becomes Empress be the best one, I would think the one where she becomes a witcher and sets out on her own would be the best one, seeing it's what she always wanted to do

Not really true. She always wanted to help people, if she didnt meet her father then being a witcher and killing monsters fulfills that yeah, but if she does meet with her father, she can do much more to help people being an Empress. So both endings are what she wants.

She always wanted to be free to do what she wants, as a witcher she can do that, as an Empress she can't

It's her choice, not Emhyr's, not Geralt's, not Phillipa's or Yennefer's but hers and hers alone.

Making her a witcher is Geralt's selfish choice.

I think that becoming an Empress is the best choice for the world but not for her personally while becoming a Witcher is the best choice for her but the world will be still at war and she will have no power to stop it if she´s not the empress.

I got the Radovid quest when I got Phillipa out of the bathhouse, Dijkstra told me to meet with him at the docks. Maybe it depends on what you're saying during that conversation between him/Eilhart/Geralt

I think so too. You need to tell Djikstra some big news. If you don't, you don't get the quest.

my question havent very far does phillipaa finally get what coming to her i mean her eyes bad enough. i was hoping she end up dead

I think becoming the empress is the best one. But I don't understand why they are both so sad to say goodbye. She could visit him everyday for lunch or for 1 hour every day to hunt a monster or something by simply snapping her fingers and teleporting to him. Isn't that the whole point of the game, that she has that amazing gift xD. And she can not only teleport through space but also time, so she could 5 minutes before an important meeting, teleport to gerald, spend a week with him and still be back in time for a quick coffee before the meeting. Whats the big deal? ;)

I think she sad because she has to leave him right now and he won't be near her all the time. GERALT don't want to go with her and be with her all the time. Come to her marriage? Sure! Come to her sometimes? Sure! But be near her when she's an empress? Nooope, too much politics for a poor witcher.

Yeah but he doesn't have to come to her, it takes him weeks to travel to her. It takes her a mere second to teleport to him and stay for dinner, or hunt a few rabbits/griffons. I mean yeah she isn't there all the time but come on it's not like they have to say goodbye for good. She has all the freedom she ever wanted and can also help people as an empress. With her teleport thing she can essentially have all the cakes and eat them too :p Seriously, couldn't they say we always have dinner together at sundown? Also if he is with yen and she becomes a witchess (female witcher?) they don't see each other all the time every day anyways cuz she is out witchering while he chills in a bath with yen. I dunno but it seems weird to me that they didn't think of that possibility in the final moment when you say "it doesn't have to be a goodbye"

It's fine, it's just a parent-child relationships. She is not a small girl anymore, she has her own responsibilities, interests and etc. Sure she can have dinners with them, but she also has to have dinners with someone else as empress, as a young woman. I think it's sad for her and him mostly because they didn't have time as family when everyone lives in one house when parents have a lot of time with children and etc. If you every moved out from your parents I think you should get it, yes, you have much more freedom but you lost something and your parents lost it too. Geralt has with Cirir just a few years as her little daughter maybe even less and booom, she's an adult and moving out.

I understand what you mean, been quite a while since I moved out xD and don't like thinking about my kids moving out. But still it seems they make a way bigger deal of it then they should but maybe I'm weird.

If you didn't read the books you can easily don't get it. If you just play the game you can think - "Oh, she was missing like a few years, I bet they get a lot of time together when she was a child", well, wrong, it was maybe a 1 or 2 full years if I remember correctly.
