All I ever see 90% of the time is more porno mods and useless skin changes. Where's the interesting mods like Fallout 4 had?
No modding tools, no advanced mods. Simple. All I ever see 90% of the time is more porno mods and useless skin changes. Where's the interesting mods like Fallout 4 had?

If they're worried about getting their feelings hurt I'd suggest they don't put up their work to begin with. I'm a 3-D Artist. I only got better by allowing my peers to criticize my work. When you have a job and your best isn't good enough, guess what. No one cares. You get let go.No one forces you to use mods you don't like. it's rather disrespectful to make comments like that, too; modders are people just like everyone else, and they share their work for free. Don't like a mod, don't use the mod -- but also don't dismiss it as "boring" or whatever.
I'm no modder, or mod user in this game's case, but the above is basic common decency.

Modding is not a job, it's something people do because they want to. A key difference. Going around trashing people's work is always less than polite, anyway. When you have a job
most prob because they cant fix their own stuff yet - so they dont wanna let others take hand on the code as well... just a guess. (didnt meant they shouldnt, maybe that would gave them a deeper inside how to clean up the current mess somehow... but well we dont know.)If they're worried about getting their feelings hurt I'd suggest they don't put up their work to begin with. I didn't realize CDPR pulled the moding tools though. That makes a lot of sense. Why did they do that?

I've made mods for Fallout 4, I've done some reskins for World of Tanks and I'm making entire campaigns and custom factions and reskins for Starcraft and Starcraft II for over 15 years now on and off, all that without knowing jackshit about ICT stuff, not my area of work. I've learned how to use Blender with the specific setup I require. I use free access tools and programs and all of that while having a working week of 40+ hours.Modding is not a job, it's something people do because they want to. A key difference. Besides, expecting large-scale mods for a game less than 4 months old is bound to end in disappointment, especially when people are saying there aren't even proper mod tools available.
Not to mention you're not entitled to any mods in the first place. No one is.
