Why can't we determine coinflip first before mulligan

What do people think about coin flip before card selection?

I think this may add more depth to the game. People who know how to pick based upon going first or second could be a fun added aspect, I know it would help me make some relevant choices.

The only upside (btw I totally agree with you that it should be decided before mulligans,) is that it forces players to make strategies for both outcomes. In other words if you knew you are going first you plan based on that, but if you don't know you have to plan for anything and that (in theory) keeps things fresh.

I think gwent is going more for strategy then randomness, although that could be debated. I think its a healthy change.
