I just contacted EA Origin support... Short version, I have to purchase the game again from Steam.
When I was looking for support, Witcher 3 is no longer in the game list to choose from.

So I dealt with EA customer support regarding the problem with the non-existent next gen update on origin/EA and the first sentence from customer support was simply ''There should be a free update? Here with us?'' and that's when I knew that EA hadn't done anything with CD Projekt RED regarding the Next Gen update to implement it on the Origin App or EA App. The end of the song I completely uninstalled the Origin version and got the Complete Edition from gog for 10 euros.
This is BS. I bought the game on origin at release and I've played 170 hours. Bought every DLC and now they wont update the game? Please CD Red do something?
Time to uninstall it on Origin.

This. From what I know, the Next-Gen update has been released on Steam and GOG, but those of us who bought the game on Origin back in the day (mistakenly), have yet to actually get the update. I say this even after uninstalling, to then install the game again. Still on version 1.31.

Agreed. I'm a huge witcher fan, played thru all three of them with every DLC available. I'm not made of money and I already bought the product(s) once and I really expect the same treatment as other customers. This need to be fixed. Please post the link to this thread on the games twitter channel and other social media channels they have so we may be noticed!

Hey y'all. I found someone who seems to have made their Origin version of TW3 update to 4.0 via GOG by syncing Origin with GOG and installing that way. I haven't been able to do it myself yet and I'm waiting for that person to get back to me to help. Y'all could try and see if you can figure it out, and then let the rest of us know. I'll update once I know more.
