Lost torch - how get it back?

I accidently slid the torch to the witcher figure instead of the pockets and it is now gone. How can I get another or get it back?

You can buy a new one at most merchant/traders. Depending on how far you have got through the game i'd look at the trader in white orchard, and the trader/quartermaster in crow's perch.
Although there are many more that sell torches.

If you simply dropped the torch, it should have ended up on the ground as a lootable "purse".

Otherwise you can just find or buy a new one, like suggested above.
