Retail Witcher 2 Black screens on launching game

Hey guys!
Hope you all can help,
I recently installed The Witcher 2, and installed all the new patches etc etc, but when i start it up, the sounds of the start up go, but my entire screen is black.
Not sure whether this is performance issue, everything is on low,
Or whether it's install is corrupted or what not?
Halp pretty please :3?
