A uninstall is still required
You can install the game to any patch you want without the game forcing you to use a specific game version (like it would be on Steam, as Steam forces you to use the newest version)

Came here looking around to see if anyone else had noticed this after patch 1.6.
Had a feeling the solution would be buried in the settings, but was wondering if my noticing of it was just me having a little time off the game, or a problem that snuck in during the patch.
