FCR crash error

Hello,

I have installed the game from GOG.com. The game played fine until I loaded the the FCR mod and 1.1 update. Clicking on Launch Game from the opening menu brings up the error message:
The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142). Click OK to close the application.

Has anyone run into this and know of a way to solve the problem?

Did you install any new programs between the last time you played Witcher 2 to the installation of FCR2 ?
If you`re running Nvidia card then either the beta driver update or GeForce Experience 1.6 can cause this error .

Yes it was the damn GeForce Experience. I managed to get it working, thanks for your help!!
