[ACT I] I can't seem to initiate the BEAST episode

Wandering the empty roads, killing Bhargs and Ghoulies...making repeated trips back to the cavem, where Abigail simply says "why are you here?", wander back to the INN where Shani just whines that she wants to leave... I've done ALL the quests apart from the CAVE UNDER THE WALLS.So, what do I do?

Yes, well, I opened it anyway! Did I miss something?

you open it and go through it, that leads to the third fight with salamandras (1. the two guys outside, 2. the 4 guys inside, and 3. 3 maybe 4 more guys in the cave)then you find alvinthen you aard your way to the other cave with abigailthen you sleep with her , or notthen you fight the beast

The beast is the last thing you should be doing. By "CAVE UNDER THE WALLS" I assume you mean finding Leuvaarden's.Do that one first.
