Cyberpunk 2077 PC Crash Issues

Make sure Cyberpunk folder is not read-only

also allow Cyberpunk exe through firewall and allow through your AV

That sounds terrible, sorry to hear that. In 1.5 years I have to imagine you've tried everything... Maybe try the Cyberpunk Discord?

Error reason: Unhandled exception
Expression: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xC0000005)
Message: The thread attempted to read inaccessible data at 0x208.
File: <Unknown>(0)

I have already sent gigabytes of error reports, nothing helps. The computer is clean, everything is installed, all the libraries too, all the advice from the Internet did not help at all, it has been like this for 1.5 years.
The error occurs immediately after starting the game. All files are intact

PC spec:
i9 12900
RTX 3080
32 GB 5600mhz DDR5
SSD
WIn 10 last version

in general it‘s best to contact cdpr support with this form:

Please click on Contact Us to send a ticket after following the suggestions in this article.

Did you try disabling cross play saves in the game menu? Might be worth a try too…

What kind of saves? I can't go into the game, it crashes immediately, no black screens, no loading menu. nothing.
Just my desktop and my favorite button "send another 1 gigabyte of reports"

Had that Issue (inaccessible data at 0xFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF) after a fresh installation of Windows 11.
gog Galaxy and Cyberpunk were freshly installed as well.
Setup is a Ryzen 7 7800X3D, a RX 7900 XTX on a B650 Board with 32 GB DDR5 RAM.

The Game would crash after showing the initial splash screen for about 10-20 seconds (I didn't even make it to the menu).

I tried many things but the only thing that worked was reducing the refresh rate of my main monitor from 144Hz to 120Hz.
No issues since then.

Going to add myself to the list of people whose game crashes a lot.
Crashes are extremely common upon loading a save (i.e. after a game over) and common during combat. Sometimes they also happen randomly.
Most common type of error I get in the crash report is :

Error reason: Unhandled exception
Expression: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xC0000005)

This is not the only type of crash error I got but definitely the most common one, by a long margin. Others include:

Error reason: Unhandled exception
Expression: EXCEPTION_INT_DIVIDE_BY_ZERO

And

Error reason: Unhandled exception
Expression: EXCEPTION_HEAP_CORRUPTION

These two errors I got once for each only. The former one is basically the reason for all of my crashes.

I tried every suggestion listed in the support page and that I could find in the web but nothing works. This is also the only game which is giving me such an issue. I also have contacted support about it and am waiting for an answer.

I'm hoping this gets fixed very soon because it's really becoming a problem, I would like to know information about when the next patch is coming and if the issue is going to be addressed in that patch.

So I encountered a game breaking glitch last night during Never Fade Away. Alt Cunningham never spawned at all at any point during the mission, the conversations were entirely one-sided and I couldn’t see or hear anything from Alt, and the mission ended with a completely black screen where the game freezes and I can’t do anything but close the game using Alt F4.

I tried uninstalling all mods and verifying the game again on Steam but that didn’t work. Tried using an earlier save, though it was an auto save from prior to the mission starting but that didn’t work either.

I looked around and it appears other have had this issue, but I have not found a fix. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this problem and get Alt to spawn? Is this a framerate issue? It looks like this mission has had a lot of bugs over the years too.

Is my game file just screwed for good?

Is it just me or Cyberpunk 2077 officially doesn't support the version of DLSS 2?
This game used to run on my Titan RTX on almost highest possible settings, Performance mode enabled for DLSS and all features of Ray-Tracing, reaching around 78-85 fps. Now that was an enjoyable experience. But now after these updates, I'm getting only 43 ~ 52 FPS at a maximum. I do have newer drivers installed and I installed them just for this game. Can someone verify my question?

New 2.1 update did not fix the crashing at all unfortunately, if anything I'd say it's worse now.

Most common cause of crashing is when loading a save file, always with the EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xC0000005) error and then "The thread attempted to read inaccessible data at *x* (as in different each time)"

It now also crashes a lot on startup, right at the first "cyberpunk 2077" logo that appears after the launcher. When it doesn't crash it visibily stutters and freezes for a second where it normally crashes.

Even when not reloading a save it sometimes crashes for no reason.

Obviously I installed the new NVIDIA drivers.

I tried literally everything to make it work but nothing. At this point I'm at a total loss for how and why it happens and support doesn't seem to have any idea either

2.1 crashed every time I try to launch it now. It displays the Cyberpunk graphic, and then crashes. Roll on patch 2.11 I guess
Delete the x64 in Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64 -> then recheck the game with GoG Galaxy, it will download about 220mb of files, and the Game will run without problems.

Had the same problem.
Try to delete the UserSettings.ini in C:\users\[your user id]\AppData\Local\CD Project Red\Cyberpunk 2077\.

I fixed my CTD issues; I updated/installed the BIOS and the CPU/Motherboard's drivers

Check to see if your BIOS and your drivers are outdated by checking your motherboard's model on the manifacturer website.
Be careful as updating the BIOS and chipset incorrectly can corrupt your system: make sure you're following the instructions correctly or ask for support from your motherboard's manifacturer.

EDIT: well what do you know, crashing issues have returned as before. I have no idea what how to proceed now except asking again for support
