Development budget of Cyberpunk 2077

+
Reportedly, it's $120 mil. In comparison, GTAV had a budget of $137 mil. and Witcher 3 had 46.

Do you think the money is in the game?

I guess you can waste a lot of money with a chaotic development. For example, compare the 2018 trailer with the in game cutscene. Someone said "scrap them" and make them again. If this happened too often, then yeah, you can spend a lot of work and money for nothing.

Gosh... 46 on the Witcher 3? How could they go so wrong after that game?
I feel less guilty for feeling dissapointed by CDPR...

The overall budget for CP2077 was $320M that included marketing and promotion, Keanu's pay was not paid $90M like what some people say, that's 1/4th of his networth, his billing for John Wick 1 was $2.5M and whilst it was higher for JW3 that movie only grossed ~$300M world wide on a $75M production budget and $40M promo.
Keanu probably made around $10M or so from JW3.

Keanu isn't a top billing talent, he got paid 7 figures for the game for sure including all the promotion he had to do, but it was a fairly modest 7 figures.

No way Keanu got 90 Million :ROFLMAO: Hes oe of the only dudes in this business who certainly doesnt care much about money and probalby spend most of his pay for someone else.

What a serious catastrophe in time and resource management this game has been. This game will be seen by future developers as an example of how not to make and release a video game.
