Griffin armor has dimeritium?

Shouldn't it stop Geralt from using signs? Theres even some in the gauntlets.

Edit: Why not change it for black steel or meteorite silver in a future patch?

maybe as a form of magic protection? but then it would be better for armors not supposed to be used with sign builds..

I don't think its that, or else it would be written in the stats. I think the devs just thought "Lets make them pay for the most expensive metal in the game even though it breaks the lore!"

Not hating, just kind of confused.

You have a damn good point. Dimeritium isn't supposed to 'help' magic casting in any way/shape or form. It's supposed to disrupt magic. And signs ARE magic, even if Geralt says it's just tricks.
