No fix for Pyres of Novigrad bug in 1.04?

I'm playing on PC, 1.04 and I finished that quest no problems. Didn't have the bug people are talking about...weird..Steam version here...

Good to know, anyways people are having problems, because they did something and triggered the bug.

Isn't there a way to work around the problem by using the Nexus Debug console mod?
