Patch 1.1

+
The Ryzen CPU's are very dependent on the RAM speed, so those who have low FPS must have cheap slow RAM,
mine is at 3600Mhz CL14 so the CPU is working at it's best and I get a decent ~60 frames at ultra with ray tracing.
I use the same ram
I get around 55-60 fps with ray tracing on using a RTX 2070 Super
80-95 fps with ray tracing off and set to ultra.

Maybe the ones complaining need to drop some cash on decent ram

Really, RAM is key
those are my best frames at Ultra + RT, of course I can't keep that high frames at all times, so usually it sits around ~60

Patch 1.1 for Cyberpunk 2077 is now available on PC, consoles and Stadia!

In this update we focused on various stability improvements, which you can find outlined in the patch notes below. We will continue this work in patch 1.2 and other upcoming updates. At the same time we will keep fixing the bugs you encounter and listening to your feedback on how to improve the overall game experience.

Stability

Various stability improvements including:
  • Memory usage improvements in various systems within the game: characters, interactions, navigation, in-game videos (news, tv, etc.), foliage, laser effects, minimap, devices, AI, street traffic, environmental damage system, GPU-related, and more.
  • Various crash fixes (related to, among others, loading saves, game opening/closing and Point of No Return).
Quests/Open World
  • Fixed an issue where calls from Delamain would end immediately and seem like they cannot be picked up in Epistrophy.
  • Fixed an issue where players would not receive calls from Delamain when approaching relevant vehicles in Epistrophy.
  • Fixed an issue where the objective could get stuck on "Answer the call from Mr. Hands" in M'ap Tann Pèlen.
  • Fixed an issue where Judy could teleport underground in Pyramid Song.
  • Fixed an issue where it would be impossible to talk to Zen Master in Poem of The Atoms.
  • Fixed an issue where Takemura wouldn't call in Down on the Street.
  • Fixed an issue where Jackie could disappear in The Pickup.
  • Fixed an issue where it could be impossible to get out of the car in The Beast in Me: The Big Race.
  • Fixed an issue where players could stop receiving calls and messages after moving too far away from A Day In The Life area.
  • Fixed an issue where opening the package wouldn't update Space Oddity.
  • Retro-fixed the saves affected by a rare issue where speaking to Judy in Automatic Love would be impossible due to an invisible wall. The underlying issue is under investigation.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented players from collecting the reward in Gig: Freedom of the Press. The quest will auto-complete for those who could not collect the reward previously, and the reward will be provided automatically.
  • Fixed an issue where Delamain would remain silent throughout Epistrophy if the player initially refused to help him.
UI
  • Fixed an issue where prompt for exiting braindance could be missing.
  • Removed an invalid item from loot.
Visual
  • Fixed an issue where a grenade's trajectory could be displayed in photo mode.
  • Fixed particles' hue appearing pink when viewed close up.
  • Fixed cars spawning incorrectly in Reported Crime: Welcome to Night City.
Achievements
  • Fixed an issue where completing one of the assaults in progress in Santo Domingo would sometimes not contribute towards progression for The Jungle achievement, preventing its completion.
Miscellaneous
  • Addressed the issue responsible for saves getting oversized (related to the modifier indicating if the item is crafted), and trimmed the excess size from already existing saves (note: this won’t fix PC save files corrupted before 1.06 update).
  • Fixed an issue where input could stop registering upon opening the weapon wheel and performing an action.
  • Fixed an issue where the "Continue" button in the Main Menu could load an end game save.
PlayStation-specific
  • Performance optimization of crowds on PlayStation 4 Pro and PlayStation 5.
  • Various crash fixes on PlayStation 4.
Xbox-specific
  • Improved memory usage for character creation, mirrors, scanning, camera remote control, menus (inventory, map) on Xbox One, Xbox One X and Xbox One S.
PC-specific
  • It will now be possible to obtain achievements while in Steam offline mode. Note: Offline mode needs to be enabled before starting the game. This change does not work retroactively.
  • Addressed the game startup crashes related to loading cache on NVIDIA graphics cards.
Stadia-specific
  • Concert audio should no longer be inaudible in Never Fade Away.
  • Fixed corrupted textures on several melee weapons.
  • Tweaked default deadzone settings to be more responsive. Note: the change will not affect settings unless they’re set to default.
I just updated to 1.1 now im stuck in a call with Takemura, can't do anything anybody know how to get out of it without restarting or deleting the game?

That's why you'll never get any updates for Windows 7

Please educate yourself on what Microsoft said and what CDPR said. Go look up a 2019 DX12 release for Win 7. It only applied to WOW but you can get the idea. And then go look at CDPR requirements. AFTER you do that then come back and discuss from a more informed position.

BTW not trying to single you out. This applies to all that post about Win 7 being old. Point is CDPR listed win & so they either have to support it OR state that it won't work on Win7. They did neither.

Thanks captain obvious! Any other breaking news? Is water still wet? Can't wait to find out!

What they don't know is companies can adopt DX12 for their games that work in a Win 7 wrapper. They did this for WOW back in 2019. Other companies have done it for other games. When CDPR said it would work under Win 7 I naturally thought they would do the same. Clearly they failed in this.

I am sorry, you must have been talking to someone else about DX12, someone else must have pissed you off, I have nothing to do with this discussion. also please you could be more kind, I have not spoken to you in any rude manner ever before, and not trying to educate you, just kindly trying to help, sorry if you took it wrong.

Nope. I STILL after 1.5 months have TWO achievements NOT tracking. Won't even get into the footsteps just arbitrarily stopping. The clipping in and out of textures and my most favoritest of all.....saving while it's raining and then when I load that save when I get time to game again...somehow the weather during the time the console was off and the game saved, has changed. Yeah, totally immersive. So, back on the shelf it goes AGAIN until MAYBE, just MAYBE the NEXT patch fixes it. Good thing my car starts every day huh?

This is what 500 developers accomplished after a month of work.
This looks like the day 1 stability mod that some random modder posted on nexus.
Yeah, I'm done making excuses for this company.
Get it together CDPR.
CDPR has around 120 devs!
On 1.1 Patch they have worked 15 workdays a 8 to 10 hours.
So that was the maximal possible for this time period!
And the sayed clarly this patch is more for consoles as for the PC!
Switch two gears down and wait!
They have all the time in the world to fix the game!
They can´t do magic!
Many people should behave more normally!
How have you all been brought up?
Patience is the order of the day!

Super excited for this patch then I started to play...Reinforced Tendons flat out WON'T work, can't throw ANY grenade and the call from Takemura is "stuck." Can't answer his call, can't call anyone else I am just stuck seeing his face on my screen. Oh, and I can't save or fast travel...awesome. I have played and finished the game twice before so it won't be that big of a deal to start over but I read a review from a PC user that is having the same issue, restarted and still ended up with Takemura's face stuck on their screen. I am certain that it will be fixed soon. So far every patch has been an improvement, just wanted to make sure CDPR was in the know.

You all have the nerve to call this update 1.1? Where's all the cut content? Where's the NCART system? Where's the police AI? Where's the npc AI? Why am I still getting flashbanged constantly while trying to drive a car in first person view during the daytime? Why are cops still teleporting 3 meters behind me?! Where's all the open doors at? Where's the immersion at? Everything still locked/closed. Where's all the stuff you all boasted about and shown from 2018 at? Why can't I enjoy all those BD disks I bought? I thought you all were going to put things back that you all cut out of the game and redeem yourselves. This isn't an update. It's a bugfix patch. Should have been called 1.07, NOT 1.1. You all just keep disappointing and disappointing over and over again. I'm done. Shame on all of you.

I'm starting to think that they simply don't have the skills to make this game work. As some of us already know, the dev team that worked on TW3 is not in CDPR anymore and now it's full of new developers with less experience or worse at their fields according to some of the Glassdoor's ex-employees reviews.
The game is littered with dildos, there's a billboard with a "sexy woman" with the outline of a dick and the first thing you hear from an NPC is "black people are targeted by cops just for the color of their skin", this game wasn't made by game developers, it was made by activists, that's why it sucks and it will always suck unless they decide to hire game developers.

Yea, nobody cares. Still better than 10.
It's not 2016 anymore, W10 is way superior to W7. Time for you to get out of the old circle jerk around W10 hatred.

Sorry somehow it got directed to you. I was responding to people that keep saying DX12 is not supported in Win 7 (not really true) and Win 7 is no longer being supported (everyone knows this). This and the fact that CDPR said it would work on Win 7 is my issue. Plus the fix is actually know. CDPR has to create a wrapper that handles DX12 calls even if they do nothing. This is how they made WOW work with Win 7 and DX12.

While The Witcher 3 was created by roughly 240 in-house staff, according to the company, Cyberpunk’s credits show that the game had well over 500 internal developers. But because CD Projekt wasn’t accustomed to such a size, people who worked on the game said their teams often felt siloed and unorganized.

I take that back, indeed they had announced the support of dx12 in win 7 in March 2019...
