Patch 2.13

+
Yeah, everything is possible. It could easily be my hardware. I might try that Afterburner tomorrow :) Thanks for the tip, I really appreciate that :)

After patching i cant start the game anymore(PC)
Before anything else, depending on what platform you downloaded the patch from, the first thing you should do is, eg in steam, verify the game files. Sometimes the files simply don't download / install properly and this is a very straightforward step that will fix that issue.

That’s disappointing in the extreme. It’s not as if we’re asking for something new. We just want to experience the game as the developers intended.

I’ve been waiting months for this update to fix the immersion breaking audio bugs. What a gut punch.

Patch 2.13 for Cyberpunk 2077 and Phantom Liberty is being rolled out! It includes support for AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 3 with Frame Generation. Please note that this update is PC-only!

Keep in mind that despite the version mismatch between PC and console, Cross Progression will still function properly.

For details, check out the list of changes below.
  • Added support for AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 3 with Frame Generation. More information can be found in this article on the Support website.
  • Added support for Intel Xe Super Sampling 1.3.
  • It will now be possible to enable both DLAA and DLSS Ray Reconstruction at the same time.
  • Added a new "Utilities" tab in Settings and moved HDD Mode, Hybrid CPU Utilization and AMD Simultaneous Multithreading (SMT) options there.
  • Other stability and visual fixes.
The long-awaited patch with FSR 3.0 is here and makes the game more laggier and ugglier. Mod's do a better work.
Why not FSR 3.1 ?
Why no better LOD ?
It's a bit dissapointing.

Anyone else getting Redscript compilation errors when starting since this patch? The popup says i don't have ArchiveXL, Codeware or TweakXL installed even though I have. And it asks me to install versions of Codeware and ArchiveXL that don't seem to exist (version 1.9.0 and 1.13 respectively.
I noticed that there is now a "mod" folder in the main cp2077 directory (Steam\steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077\mods). I moved my mods from the old /pc folder to there, thinking it was a directory issue, but it made no difference. Is there a new folder where the scripts from r6 and red4ext are supposed to go?
Reinstalling Codeware, ArchiveXL and TweakXL with the latest updates from Nexus didn't work either, still get the same compilation error on startup.
Edit: I have enabled mods in the launcher

"In this video, we test the new FSR 3 Frame Generation update for Cyberpunk 2077 by running the game at a locked 20 FPS. While not recommended for regular gameplay, this is an effective way to check if the Frame Generation algorithm is generating frames correctly. This test is for demonstration purposes only.

Yes, only a small egg-shaped area in the center is interpolated (shows a generated frame). This means there is no frame generation in ~80% of the screen. That causes the "warping" effect.

Update 2.13 for Cyberpunk 2077 is broken. I appreciate if you took inspiration from the FrameGen Ghosting 'Fix' mod, but you implemented it incorrectly.

CDPR, this FG implementation will go down in history as a meme"

No comments needed... :(

I have the same issue and have the video drivers for AMD current.
And sorry, but I will not play this game without my mods which this patch just broke them...again.

You can actually revert to the previous version if you're playing from Steam.

With browser
steam://nav/console

Console tab appears within steam.

First is the base game
Second is Phantom Liberty
On Console command enter:

Others have used this method and confirmed everything worked including their mods.

FSR 3.0 (n):ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I use the FSR 3.1 mod instead

They didn't add FSR 3.1, now nvidia users cant use dlss+fsr frame gen and amd users cant use XeSS1.3 with fsr frame gen which is miles better than fsr3.0 upscaling.
Their implementation of FSR 3 frame gen is sooo bad there's no point in even using it...
Most pointless and annoying update ever

Yep sounds about right PC would get probably the final update. Us console owners really are chopped liver.

Mod authors are slowly updating their stuff, going to wait it out I guess.
It's just frustrating, because with an extensive amount of mods it
takes hours to re-install everything. A normal un-modded game
feels limited, and I don't like playing it as much.

It's not really an issue as such, since the game runs just fine - more of a strange bug.

Can we console gamers on xbox get the XESS 1.3 DP4a implementation? FSR is broken on xbox and has been for years. Also can we swap the game menu and character mod buttons on the controller? the two buttons should be inverted.
