I noticed that if you do that quest early after your arrival to the town, you may get a diagram to craft meteorite ore, but if you go later, you may get meteorite sword instead. Does anyone know what's the exact requirement for that meteorite sword prize?

I started to think it might have been some sort of a bug that I got a sword when I played the game for the first time. I haven't found any information on the internet about getting a sword from it at all. It's really strange to me.
