I've finished this quest on play through 1 and 2 previous to the latest patch and it's broken now. I know how the quest works, I get the "best" ending every time. Create Reinald's Philter quest update and potion creation are both broken. You make the potion (which is un-named in the UI) and the quest does not update and the 1-shot quest item from the chest is used up.
